Studio Shoot - Liam O'Brien - 12/01/2014
On Thursday night I had a studio shoot for my portfolio. As I chose to focus on Male fashion I booked in with Liam, a model who I shot with sometime last year and is currently on my website in the portraiture category.
For the shoot I based the styling on a lookbook by Saint Laurent in 2013 by Hedi Slimane with dark colours, leather and textures.
I wanted to try something slightly different from the lighting I used in other shoots.
For the lighting I used 2 flagged softboxes to light up the background and a strobe with a reflector and grid for the main light. I'm pleased with the results of the shoot and feel that I captured a lot of frames that I could work with and a variety of looks for my portfolio.
